Trump’s Disastrous Pick: RFK Jr.’s Wreaking Havoc on America’s Health Policy
Donald Trump hit some home runs with appointees like Lee Zeldin, Doug Burgum, Chris Wright, and Brooke Rollins, who are sharp and getting results. But picking Robert F. Kennedy Jr. for HHS Secretary is an absolute travesty! In months, RFK Jr. has turned our health system into a trainwreck, firing top experts, spreading dangerous lies, and now—outrageously—palling around with greedy tort lawyers to push his anti-vaccine crusade. At his September 2025 Senate hearing, he praised Trump’s Operation Warp Speed as “genius” while calling the same COVID vaccines “a crime against humanity.” This two-faced nonsense is putting lives at risk, and it’s infuriating!
Kennedy’s gutted HHS by axing heroes like CDC Director Dr. Susan Monarez, fired after she refused his unscientific orders, He claimed he asked her if she was trustworthy and she said no. Really?!?! Her op-ed blasted him for deliberately sabotaging public health, and her lawyers called his excuses “ridiculous.” He also dumped Dr. Peter Marks, the FDA’s vaccine expert, and all 17 CDC vaccine panel members (None of the 17 was worth keeping?!), replacing them with anti-vaxxers like David Geier, a disgraced fraud. He’s slashed $500 million in mRNA vaccine research and a $600 million bird flu vaccine deal, fueling outbreaks like the 2025 Texas measles crisis that hospitalized kids. Worst of all, he’s buddying up with tort lawyers, like those who’ve filed court declarations challenging vaccines, to flood the system with baseless lawsuits. These ambulance-chasers, including a doctor comparing COVID shots to thalidomide, are profiting off fear while Kennedy cheers them on, threatening to clog courts and scare people away from life-saving vaccines. It’s a sick betrayal of public health!
Senators from both sides tore into him at the hearing. Republican Sen. Bill Cassidy slammed his broken promises on vaccines, while Democrat Sen. Ron Wyden raged that Kennedy’s “primary interest is to take vaccines away from Americans.” Kennedy yelled back, calling questions “gibberish” and claiming ignorance on COVID deaths—prompting Sen. Mark Warner to snap, “How can you be that ignorant?” Even a crude defense from JD Vance couldn’t save him. Kennedy’s a disaster, attacking science and inviting diseases like measles back. America deserves far better for leadership of our national health policy.
